What is brushed cotton?

Also known as cotton flannel , brushed cotton is distinguished by its ability to retain heat while remaining breathable. Its origins date back to 18th-century Wales, where flannel was initially made from brushed wool for the production of kilts.

Nowadays, cotton has taken over, offering a lighter and more versatile version. It is this historical authenticity that we wanted to reinterpret in our designs.

Maintenance tips

Brushed cotton is a robust material, but it requires some care to preserve its fluffy appearance:

  • Machine wash at a maximum of 40°C .
  • The use of fabric softener is recommended to prolong the softness of the fabric.
  • Tumble dryer prohibited : prefer natural air drying.
  • Important: Never mix your brushed cotton pieces with denim in the washing machine to avoid pilling.

Investing in brushed cotton means choosing the elegance of a material that transcends time without losing its splendor.
